Severino struggled a bit but Higgy went deep twice. Sevy and Garcia could both be in a battle for the Comeback Player of the Year… At each level of baseball it seemed it took Higgy a couple years to get comfortable and be at his best. I noticed that he started drawing a few bases in balls late in the season in 2021. That could be the ignition key he’s been missing while playing so sporadically. He doesn’t need to draw 100 walks, but 30 or so would really help him as a hitter… |

That was the bat we sorely missed last year! We complain when they sit on the IL. We complain when they play through injuries. What’s a player to do?… If you aren't hitting when you are hurt, you might as well go on the IL. Voit nursed a plantar facia problem all 2020 but kept hitting dingers. |
