Why would anyone want to see Locastro on this roster let alone in games? He doesn't do anything well except run, he can't hit and he's not a plus defender, despite his speed. I'd rather resign Gardner than waste a roster spot with this guy. Didn’t I read today that Gardner has been re-signed. But I think if you watch Tim in the field this year, he’ll pass the eye test on fielding. I’d just like to see us make good use of his legs this year… I want to see us steal bases… No Gardner signing yet. Unless you have some secret doorman sources like JoeBee. |

Watching at least some of the replay of today’s game. Clarke Schmidt had excell movement in the first inning. Got the 2-strike pitch to Didi up a bit (hanging breaking ball), but Didi chopped it into the ground…1-2-3 inning…

Just saw Marwin Gonzalez’ 3 run homer. It didn’t look like he hit it that well. Just cleared the fence. Not sure how far it was to right, but it was out…

Fewer wild, out of control swings couldn’t hurt…470 foot home runs count the same as 415 foot home runs… If Stanton and Judge stay healthy again, we start to build the offense around them and we’re going to score some runs. I thought Gary Sanchez was getting to be a LOT for the team to carry the last couple years… |
