NYY PR: Prior to today’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves: •Recalled RHP Will Warren (#98) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. •Optioned RHP Cody Poteet to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Or maybe it's Poteet! I bet Poteet!

Julius Luchs: Aaron Judge finished the 2024 season with an OPS+ of 223 and a 10.8 WAR. Only 2 other players have reached those totals in a season: Babe Ruth 5x (1920, '21, '23, '26, '27) Barry Bonds (2001, 2002) So only Judge and the greatest player of all time have done this! If we don't recognize cheaters, that is.

Just watched Yankees VS Dodgers an Uncivil War on MLB or ESPN about 77&78. Great show for us older fans.

Judge would have earned one in right field. I was satisfied with Soto’s play in right field. He plays hard, has a good arm, but he’s not gold glove caliber. He will get better the more he learns Yankee Stadium’s caroms and that small foul ground corner.

He gets a great jump, covers a ton of ground and probably has as good an arm as any CFer in baseball ... I think he makes CF look easy. I cant recall any plays that Judge misplayed into a hit. I'd take him over Bader, who makes everything look difficult and injures homself in the process, in a heart beat

So those bloopers are a problem. I think he's great at going back for balls, especially those ones in the gaps.
