ball bounced off Montgomery's knee but he stayed in. Thanks, Russ! I was reading the tea leaves and coming up with bubkus. That is what the Yankee radio said, because this is on ESPN I am listening not watching. My MLB does not cover the games that are on ESPN. |

Hicks is slowly descending into the eighth circle of hell, which is reserved for frauds. At some point, he has to stop pretending to be a major league hitter, just as Sandwich is no longer pretending to be an everyday catcher. |

I really wanted Kiner-Falefa to get off to a hot start, even if it was just singles and playing superb defense. Since he has always been a Yankee fan, perhaps he's overly excited?
