My mistake. I forgot how much baseball you have played in your life and how much you have coached the fundamentals of the game to players of all ages. Forget that I mentioned situational baseball. What happened to the Higgy that had 1.00 ops Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I swear he makes up his mind to swing before the pitch is thrown. He's not a guess hitter, he's a guess swinger. Well whatever he did in Spring Training worked he apparently forgot that in a week. It's only 4 games and the first 3 games looked pretty good even with the sucky RISP they at least were hitting the ball hard yesterday.. just annoying when you look lifeless. |

It's only 4 games and the first 3 games looked pretty good even with the sucky RISP they at least were hitting the ball hard yesterday.. just annoying when you look lifeless. Several of those HR were off guys that won’t see MLB time for quite a while, if ever. Also, he was hot. We know when a hitter gets hot, he’s going to cool down. The timing of the hot and cold sucks. He’ll be back… But when he comes back, he’s not going to bat .400 or wipe out any HR records… |

Boone screwed up when he didn't pinch hit Donaldson for Higgy with two runners on in the 7th. Trevor Richards wasn't pitching well and would have had to stay in for Donaldson because of the three batter minimum. Instead Higgy flew out, and the Blue Jays went to the sidewinder Cimber against Donaldson who hit into a double play. Adding insult to injury, Higgy made the final out of the game later with Donaldson on deck.
