Just got home, fixed my Gretagirl some sauted calves' liver. Nope, she wanted the pork chop rice and gravy I was eating. Last night, I stir fried some chicken breast for her. No, she wanted the liver and onions I was eating. Other than gummy bears and Mike & Ike's, which she takes freely whether I am eating them or not, she prefers whatever is in my bowl. Also, pistachios. Having trouble getting her to eat regular dog food - canned or kibble. She's getting so skinny. Why do you through a fastball to Vlad Guerrero, Jr.? He is a dead-red fastball hitter. That's quite an eclectic diet. Gummy Bears seem like they would present a problem for a dog. |

Wow, that pitch was way more inside that I thought. Tip your cap to Guerrero, Jr. Higher or lower, and it may have been effective. Still, amazing he hit that out of the park and not a lazy fly ball.

Chocolate is another matter. Greta has eaten gummy bears since 2014 when we got her at the Mastiff Rescue in Phoenix, Arizona. She's almost 13 now, so I figure better that she eats something, rather than nothing. It's not like she gets a whole bowl of them, though. |

I wonder the Jays didn't bench one of their best hitters tonight, like Boone did with Stanton? Vlad Jr. could have used a day off.
