No, it's just gelatin, pectin, sugar, and flavoring. Chocolate is another matter. Greta has eaten gummy bears since 2014 when we got her at the Mastiff Rescue in Phoenix, Arizona. She's almost 13 now, so I figure better that she eats something, rather than nothing. It's not like she gets a whole bowl of them, though. I didn't realize you had a Mastiff Rizz. Beautiful dogs. From our dog show days I remember them being called "The game keeper's night dog." Great nickname. The Boston Terrier gets dubbed "The American Gentleman." Greta is an Old English Mastiff - apricot in coloring. Sarah and I have had three of them - one a brindle. They are such sweet, but needy dogs. Perfect for acres of land or apartment living, in that they do not require much exercise, content to just follow you from room to room to be by your side. They consider themselves part of the family and are very sensitive, taking it personally if they don't go everywhere with you. They are crushed if fussed at or scolded, needing reassurance right away. Typically, they are enforcers - getting between people who appear to be roughhousing or fighting. Mastiffs like to know where everyone in the house is located at all times. Not the greatest watch dogs, they tend to guard people rather than property, unlike a Doberman, German Shepard, or a Rottweiler. |

Thanks for posting that CHI. I need reminding that it's baseball that changed and not me. Those guys weren't superhuman; they just learned and conditioned themselves to pitch nine innings. Exactly. That was a better game IMO. Removing great starting pitchers as an element of the game is a huge loss. The more you reflect on Ryan the greater he seems. In my life there have been few pitchers I enjoyed watching more. He was electric. And, if you didn't get him early, forget it. The problem was that he never played for a great hitting team or he would have won more than 400 games. |
