Boone's greatest thrill is torturing Montgomery. He may never win another game. If I was Monty, I'd be counting off the days free agency. As great as it would be to be a Yankee, his career is being stunted by Boone. I was thinking the same way. I also imagined Monty imagining punching Boone in the face over and over. |

Igawa was the third man… always hilarious… Another of my favorite movies - also Orson Welles as the inimitable Harry Lime. I prefer that one to "Citizen Kane." I also like "Touch Of Evil." My favorite Welles film is his adaptation of "The Magnificent Ambersons." But the Booth Tarkington novel is also a masterpiece. |

The simplest option for MLB to improve offense would be to inform umpires that if they’re going to call a strike, it better BE a strike… But the imps are stronger than the commissioner, so they can’t do that

Touch of Evil is wonderful, even with Charlton Heston as a Mexican police detective. Marlene Dietrich - whom Ernest Hemingway endearingly called "The Kraut" - was perfect for her role. |
