Amazing that the Rangers are shutting down our offense. Then again, when this team is not hitting, it doesn't matter who is pitching. I really feel for Monty. It must be demoralizing when you keep putting up solid numbers with nothing to show for it. The Rangers have a better ERA than the Yankees at this point in the season… That might be even MORE amazing… Where did you see that? That's not true. As of yesterdays games yankees 2nd in MLB with 2.60 ERA. Rangers 24th at 4.23.

Exactly. A bit dried out. We got the Texas Filet, their most expensive cut. Maybe that was part of the problem. Maybe too lean to cook so much… We were Texas Roadhoused today. |

Well, a split or butterfly is better than the alternative of a double-header loss. It shall be interesting to see how Michael "Gyro" King rebounds from the nearly flawless performances he has turned in this season. I cannot believe Monty only threw 71 pitches. He was taken out because he gave up one run? Silly. |

As unprofessional as most broadcast teams are anymore they might have transposed the numbers. I specifically recalled so braggadocio and the number 2.43… Which was a stunner to me. Sorry, I should have verified that. I don’t trust broadcasters much to be right… I also saw a stat on the screen that said Gallo, Trevino, and IKF had more games between them as a Ranger than the entire Ranger team today totaled. But don’t trust them… |
