Why Gil? Doesn't he have like a 9.00 ERA in AAA? Surely someone else is a better choice. No Hicks (no loss) and no IKF--but he's slumping right now and it's probably a good move to sit him a day or 2

I'm not sure whether Schimdt is not eligible to come up again so soon or they don't want to use one of their five options on the year on him to call him up just to send him down again. |

These Wheat Sox are off to a pretty lackluster start at the plate. No one has more than 4 HR… Grandal doing a lot of DHing @.167, and the starting catcher is hitting .130 or so…
Tim Anderson is @.347, as usual, but there hasn’t been much help for him…

Dylan Cease looks like a recruit in the Prussian Army from around 1880. I think he looks like the guy Val Kilmer beat out for the Tombstone role. |
