Trivia: Which Hall of Famer is the only player to hit .400 twice since 1920? I checked on Hornsby. He actually did it too in 1922, 1924, and 1925:

Well actually he was my backup guess. I knew he had hit over .400 more than once, but I wasn't sure of the years. Hornsby missed a lot of games so maybe he just didn't qualify. Hornsby did it in 22-24-25. Three times… Maybe he did it too often… |
