The drift was to kill as many protestants as possible. Well that battle went both ways. Yes it did

I think I read about that in the deliberations of the Council of Trent. Ecumenism was my father's middle name. No, it was Edward. Oh yeah? Well my father killed a Flying Buttress with his bare hands.

The new, renovated park is very nice, a huge improvement over what the had. When new Comiskey first opened, the upper deck was built at such a dramatic angle that you would almost get vertigo walking to your seat. Plus the light blue color scheme of the place was too similar to Yankee Stadium. Rumor has it the architects that designed Camden Yards originally shared their ideas with White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf when they were planning to build New Comiskey (minus the warehouse in LF). He turned it down in favor of the eye sore that they built and had to renovate. Thanks for the review Chi. Reinsdorf seems to make a lot of wrong decisions. I've never been to Comiskey II. I did make it to Old Comiskey in the late 70s. It was a fun relic, although not one of the great older parks like Wrigley or Forbes Field or Tiger Stadium or Fenway or of course Yankee Stadium. The neighborhood was a bit uninviting at that time, but I know things change. The neighborhood is still bad around Comiskey, you don't hang around after games, especially at night. One advantage of the place is easy access. It's built right off the Dan Ryan expressway and redline El (subway), so it's easy to get in and out of.

My name here actually stands for No One Expects The Spanish Inquisition. All these years, I had no idea noetsi was an acronym, although I do remember your original user name.
