I've noticed this guy has become a Yankee killer. I've also noticed the no hit OF's Hicks & Gallo are becoming a problem. It's gotta be Florial time pretty soon. He couldn't be worse. |

Cashman is stuck with Gallo and Hicks. He will never admit to his mistakes. Unless one of them gets hurt, we will not see Florial playing CF at Yankee Stadium on a fulltime basis,

You cant have 2 starting outfielders who get 1-2 hits a week. Kinda feel bad for them, but they add little to the team.

Gallo runs into one every once in a while. Hicks is just a waste of space. Send up Florial please. Florial was pulled up last season and played well, only to be replaced by Jonathan Davis. Cashman prefers other team's players and castoffs more than his own minor leaguers. Except in trades, then minor league prospects are nearly untouchable, until they are released. Florial is left-handed, is a better fielder, has a better arm, will steal more bases, and will display more power. He will strike out more than Hicks and walk less, but he will not be an automatic out with men in scoring position. And, Florial catches that bloop to centerfield that changed the game today. |

Ender Inciarte (lefty) is hitting .327/.397/.500 in Triple A and he's a former gold glover in CF. When the pitcher limit goes to 13 in 10 days I hope to see Florial or Inciarte up here and getting starts over Hicks.

When the pitcher limit goes to 13 in 10 days I hope to see Florial or Inciarte up here and getting starts over Hicks. Inciarte is a former two time .300 hitter who averaged .300 from 2015-2017. He had a bit of a drop off in 2018 and since has not be able to get regular playing time. He’s only 30. If his defensive chops are still near what they were, he’d certainly help. Florial has shown loads of improvement. I don’t care which one is promoted first honestly, but both could help this team right now, AND save Judge’s legs from needing to play CF. We need him in RF. Stanton does well on balls he can get to, but his range is limited… |
