Doubleheader today, and with those two games we'll be a quarter of the way through the season. Marwin Gonzalez gets the start in left field. Looks like Torres, Gallo, and Florial will be playing in the second game. Hopefully, Ba-Boone flip-flops Judge and Stanton in game two between DH and RF. Both hitting the ball well, no reason to rest with the DH employed. Do you hear me Boone?  I have to go into work today, so likely shall not be joining in the game threads, but I'll be listening to the game in my office, hopefully getting some time-sensitive reports done. If not, I'll be absent from on the game threads for several days. I hate doing other people's work, while they enjoy the weekend.  Anyone else happy we don't have to pitch to Santander? He's becoming a pest and a Yankee killer for the Orioles. I'm glad to see Baltimore gone for a while. It's like we do not get pumped up to play them. 1. Tim Anderson (R) SS 2. Leury Garcia (S) 2B 3. I'll get it done - for some reason I'm at my best with the heat on. The problem is that the platform that I have to use is brand new to me. Normally, in this particular position, when bean counters want information, they request what is needed and I provide them with printed batch reports from online information systems that I use everyday. Then, they input the information into their platform. For the first time in my career, I am not just providing the disaggregated information needed - I am also tasked with inputing the data! What a waste of tax payer's money having me perform data entry on a system with which I am unfamiliar, when the person I am providing the information has data-entry employees on staff. So, rather than waste my time during the work week, I'm going to try to knock it out this afternoon and evening. There is always one power-play idiot who cannot deign to do things other than her way - rather than working smarter and utilizing division of labor. For some reason, it was decided to pay an administrative per hour rate for an entry level position duty/assignment. It would take the date entry people a quarter of the time to do it, as they type for a living all day into the same information platform that I have no clue how to use and on which have never received a training. |

I'm not surprised, Florial is called up and he's on the bench while Hicks & Gonzalez are both in the lineup. It's doubtful that Florial will be anything special in the big leagues, but for crying out loud, try something different than running the same scrubs out there everyday.

I feel your pain rizz. I work for a civil engineering company and sometimes I have to do data entry work when we specifically have secretaries/data entry people for that. Bureaucracy and mismanagement will be the death of us all. I hope you're getting overtime hours for coming in on a Sunday at least. |

No overtime for me - salaried position - but I shall use my paid time off that I was not planning to use by the time the fiscal year is over to recoup several lost weekend days. |
