I heard that someone walked by the training room and they were measuring him for a pine box. If you think about Hicks, they called Stanton the “Glass Man”. JD Drew got called Nancy Drew. Neither one of them has missed near as much time as Hicks. They’ve been Gehrig-like in comparison. What do you call Hicks? And now that he’s damaged goods and no longer seems to have the range, the arm, the speed,nor the power that made him such an attractive “potential star”, he’s on the field every day…Erin Hicks? Shouldn’t it be time to stretch out Hicks? I heard that someone walked by the training room and they were measuring him for a pine box. If you think about Hicks, they called Stanton the “Glass Man”. JD Drew got called Nancy Drew. Neither one of them has missed near as much time as Hicks. They’ve been Gehrig-like in comparison. What do you call Hicks?
