Confusing weather delay. I guess the priority is to find a way to get both games in. There should be a time limit to
Resume play before calling this one, I suppose.

The Yankees should at least let you cash your tickets in for another game later this season or give you a full refund. I bought it on the secondary market and the Yankees ticket office is notorious for being useless so I didn't even try with them and just sold them on StubHub. What secondary market do you use to buy tickets? Stubhub? I'm thinking about taking a trip to NYC this summer and want to finally catch a game at the new Yankee Stadium. |

It's amazing a guy can be out of the big leagues as long as Carpenter has been and still have an AB like that against a pitcher like Ohtani. I mean I personally think Ohtani is a little overrated as a pitcher, but that doesn't make it any less impressive for what Carpenter is doing. During the intros for this afternoon's game, Cone called Ohtani the greatest player since Babe Ruth. I thought maybe YES should give David a urine test to see if he's sober. The pitching/hitting thing is extraordinary but he's not even the greatest player on his current team right now and certainly isn't even in the same breath as the all time greats, like Mays, Mantle, Aaron, Musial.... |
