The Eeyore of Yankee fans. I know all about Eeyores. One of my wife's nicknames is "Find the Bummer". There used to be a character in Al Capp's "Li'l Abner" named Joe Btfsplk who always had a cloud over his head and was always downcast. |

I'm not going to play that because I know if I do I'll have the hook of that song stuck in my head for two days.  Don’t you hate that? I once told one of my bosses that I had a nickname for another of our employees. The guy would go around singing and whistling all the time and was very easy going, so I called him “Freebird”. At that point my boss had the “Freebird” song stick in his head for over a week… 😂😂😂 What was worse is that he didn’t like the song… |

Yankees are now 44-16 after 60 games. In 1998, the Yankees were 46-14. The 1927 Yankees were 43-17. The 1961 Yankees were 37-23. |

One day, I got sick of hearing it and went to the juke box and kicked it. Scratched the hell out of the record. When the guy came to put in some new records, I had him take it out and put in Jimmy Buffett's "Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw?". The whole place would sing when it came on. |
