That gap double reminds me of Jorge Posada - he hit a lot of those, usually with someone on base. Jwild did some scholarly dissertations on the subject of Posada and doubles. Excellent work. He's still wrong about Nolan Ryan, though. |

Sadly, I recall a few times that Jorge hit a double, but made a wrong turn and got lost, never quite dinging his way back to the bag. Such an awful baserunner, especially for a slow guy. He could get himself in some weird predicaments… 2 (i think?) |

But I'd gladly take him on my team. |
