If Gallo strikes out his next two at bats, his strikeout percentage will become 46.7 or 47%. That is historically bad. Rob Deer was considered laughable at 36.6 percent. You have to think the odds are pretty good on that happening. Gallo is regressing as the year goes on. Just for comparison, Adam Dunn for his career struck out 28.57 percent of the time. Mark Reynolds struck out 30.87 percent of the time.

You have to think the odds are pretty good on that happening. Gallo is regressing as the year goes on. Just for comparison, Adam Dunn for his career struck out 28.57 percent of the time. Mark Reynolds struck out 30.87 percent of the time. All those guys you've been mentioning would even laugh at Gallo's .164 batting average. .164! and he still plays.
