It was fun! Spent some quality time with my friend and his family. Didn't eat anywhere fancy just a burger joint and a diner. Unfortunately today my friend's son (age 6) got hit in the mouth by a errant tennis racket when he was at summer camp. They had to take him to urgent care. Luckily he was fine, no stitches. Kids. Always hurting themselves. Glad you have a good time. I actually like diners. Breakfast is always fresh, and most have solid French fries to go along with burgers on a well-seasoned, well-used griddle. And, they almost always have pie! Many years ago, I coached boys' and girls' tennis, and that is not an uncommon occurrence with younger kids. Fortunately, there was no serious damage. Probably more frightened than anything else. Much depends on the reaction of the adults and parents, which kids will follow instinctively. If the parent nonchalantly smiles and says, "It's okay, you'll be fine." Kids almost immediately stop crying and relax. But, if parents can drown in a half-an-inch of water, their children follow suit. Very true with kids and their parents reactions, rizz.
The diner we went to is famous in New Jersey for their cheesecake. It was quite delicious.

Timely indeed. Come on Taillon, get Santander and don't extend the inning.

Stanton looked terrible up there. Down in three pitches.

Love cheesecake. I used to make it sometimes. One Thanksgiving, I made a pumpkin cheesecake that was incredible.

Stanton looked terrible up there. Down in three pitches. No balance, flailing. The thing about Stanton is that he can look just the opposite the next at bat.

Mets make a trade
The Mets and Pirates have swapped a pair of big leaguers. New York announced they’ve landed designated hitter/first baseman Daniel Vogelbach from the Bucs, trading reliever Colin Holderman in a one-for-one deal.
