Yeah. We took a second look at the place in Manassa today. I’m not going to offer any more money, because there are some issues there. So, we’re $14K apart. T hey probably won’t sell, which might be good for us.We had another place we were going to look at today, but someone made an offer on it yesterday. So, we’re back to looking. On the plus side, after going live with our house yesterday, we already had a showing today, but no idea how it went. Another plus was that our dogs graduated from riding in the back seat with Ruthie to riding back there by themselves. She rode with them in the 2.5 hour trip down, and then she moved up front for the trip home. The starting point was car sickness when we first brought them home seven months or so ago, so the progress is great… So is life all bad? Nah. But it’s a lot of work trying to achieve our goals, and I’m getting tired… Get a good night's sleep. House hunting/moving is a chore. So you didn't hit on something like you wanted? Even Joey Gallo struck out today. Oh, wait, that's not the right analogy. Like you said, you never know when something may be good for you that did not occur. As long as you're breathing, good things can happen.

Bad time for Montgomery to be terrible, still the Yankees had plenty of chances to score in this game. They just need a couple more big hits and stop making outs on the base paths. I don't like Torres at cleanup and Carpenter having ice cold Donaldson behind him.

Yankees’ Aaron Boone defends surprise Joey Gallo decision.
Aaron Boone defended the move to go with the strikeout machine over Kiner-Falefa, who had two hits earlier in the game to extend his hitting streak to 13 games, the longest by a Yankee this season.
“It’s not [just] about getting a hit in that situation,” Boone said of why he went with Gallo over the slap-hitting Kiner-Falefa. “The other component is forcing their hand to at least get their closer in there for a four-out situation.”

Yes, let's get one of the most dominate relievers into the game as soon as possible. Brilliant strategy by Boone.

Boone can defend that decision all he wants but in my opinion it was FUBAR. Gallo was lost at that at bat as he has been since he joined the Yankees. With Stanton gone running Gallo out there even for a few games would be just adding an automatic out to the lineup. Unbelievable.

Yeah, like other teams wanted to see Mariano earlier than the ninth inning. Well, Ba-Boone, you needed runs and sent to the bench arguably your hottest hitter other than Aaron Judge and in his place the worst hitter in the major leagues the last calendar year.

If Boone leaves IKF hit, maybe Buck leaves Ottavino in there. A much better matchup for sure.
