He is a .227 hitter. The only real question is why he was signed. Because Cashman likes how batting average players I guess. He sure signs a lot of them to expensive contracts He wasn't signed. He was traded for. They have to sign him to a contract to be on the team. I meant signing generally not just free agency. |

Pavano was worse than Ellsbury. The later was on the team so little I never really consider him a yankee
