Yes, I now recall I was on my house-hunting trip to Philly in July 2006 when Abreu and Corey Lidle were traded for forgotten prospects. Wasn't that the CJ Henry trade? The Yankees traded shortstop C.J. Henry, southpaw reliever Matt Smith, catcher Jesus Sanchez, and right-hander Carlos Monasterios to the Phillies in exchange for All-Star outfielder Bobby Abreu and veteran pitcher Cory Lidle Definitely a good trade for the Yankees. |
