I think they screwed him over. They asked him about that scenario and he said no, the Monty/Bader trade was made for its own merits, but that they fell short getting another pitcher at the last minute. That’s still crazy. Hoping for a last-minute deal. |

You remembered! Remembered? It's one of the funniest things I ever heard! My wife thinks so too, and she doesn't laugh at nearly as many things as I do. That makes me smile. The house was built in 1957, and the tile was pink and the toilets and tub were light blue. |

As a child and until I was in my early teens, I had no inkling that was an oddity. Schools had multiple toilets, as did concession stand pavilions at ball games and gymnasiums. It wasn't until a friend came to my house in high school that I realized. |
