I dunno if the balls were catchable, but Benentedi falling on his face didn't help. It was a line drive into the LF corner, Cole shouldn't be given up that kind of contact to terrible hitters. I'm upset with the inning, too, but JBJ didn't even take off right away, likely thinking it was a foul ball. He was late on the swing and there is no room in the left field corner with a six inch foul space. It was hardly a blue-darter. If it were, Benintendi would not have had a chance to run for it then jump against the wall to try to catch it. |
