Reverb takes some getting used to. The key is to trust your voice and not try to listen to what is coming from the speakers, which has a slight delay.

Hey, Kay, how was the Italian restaurant? Oh man the stuffed veal was sooooo good. It was a double cut prime milk-fed veal chop stuffed with fresh figs – asiago cheese – wild mushroom, and cognac sauce. One of the best veal dishes I've had.
We had meatballs and octopus for appetizer. We were in a rush so to my sadness we skipped out on the pistachio ice cream. Don't worry, I'll make up for it later by ordering ice cream (!) at home.

My father had three huge fig trees at our house. I mostly ate them raw off the tree, but my father made preserves (too sweet for me) and jam with them. He never cooked with them, which I think now was a travesty. Too bad about the ice cream. I do not enjoy rushing meals, especially at restaurants. |
