lol, the umpires don't even know the rules. That was just weird. I'd love an explanation on that one. Rizzo should have been on third.

I like DJ hitting down in the lineup. I hope Boone sticks with that when Stanton comes back. Leave Benintendi at the top. He’s got a little more speed and it’s more his game getting on base.

Great long peg from Donaldson.

Walker, 30, left his start against the Braves last Tuesday after two innings due to a back issue.
Showalter said the Mets didn’t want Walker “to get too far away from pitching and lose his arm strength” by pushing him back further than Tuesday.
Hows your trip going so far?
Thanks for the word. Well of course the trip is great, just like every other trip I ever took. This is classic New England countryside in the Litchfield Hills of CT. I won't bore with details, other than to say that I actually have access to YES on this one, so I'll be throwing in my two cents from time to time. Nice! Having YES is always clutch.

Too many Mets fans out there. Bigcountry would be all over this.

Oh man, I screwed up his name. Guess I was thinking of the old rock group. Anyway, I'd say maybe 22 percent Mets fans if you're tuning in Bluecountry.

I’m sure after saying this, German will give up 4 runs here in the 3rd, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our pitching has been better as of late due to the fact that Trevino has been catching pretty much everyday

Sterling and Waldman are gushing over the Mets like they are 115-0, Scherzer is 199-0 lifetime, and Showalter is the greatest manager ever
