That’s Blue Country, not Big Country. I only correct you because you have one of the best memories I’ve ever encountered. I don’t want you to get a wrong fact ingrained in there… Yeah, I mangled that one. My memory isn't even in the same universe as a few of my friends. I know a woman who back in the 80s could memorize entire White Page phonebooks. A useless skill, as she was the first to acknowledge, but entertaining at parties. The Yellow Pages would have so much more helpful. |

A few days ago a print version of the Yellow Pages was delivered to our driveway. I had not seen one in years and I'm not sure what earthly good they serve. It was kind of nostalgic to look through it, although the emphasis was on ads for personal injury lawyers and guys who will help you beat the IRS. |

Wettland was garbage in that series but a year later was given the WS MVP that should have went to Rivera. Wasn't it Jack McDowell who blew Game 5 in the 11th? Buck had lost all faith in Wetteland and wouldn't use him. |
