I hate that Boone moved LeMahieu to 2nd in the lineup. I can’t wait to see how he constructs this lineup in the Post Season if everyone is healthy. I was just looking at it and unless he moves Gleyber to SS with DJ at 2nd, Donaldson will be on the bench. We traded Montgomery so Bader is starting whether we love him or hate him. It might look something like this: Benintendi LF Judge RF Rizzo 1B Stanton DH LeMahieu 3B Torres 2B IKF/Cabrera SS Trevino C Bader CF Also means no Carpenter which is ridiculous as well. I’m probably over thinking this as these things tend to work themselves out, but I really hope we don’t see crazy lineups from him in October I'd put Judge in CF, Stanton in RF, and Carpenter DH
I don’t hate that at all. I just can’t see them sitting Bader after trading Montgomery. Hick’s may have been Cashman’s Guy, but he put a ring on Bader lol |
