My apologies for not commenting more, but I was on my work computer trying to finish a time-sensitive task that is due tomorrow. I think I'm going to bed though. We always have to chose work over play… and there’s nothing wrong with that…

This is the Weissert we saw in the minors this season. Glad he was able to overcome his first appearance jitters. He looks like a keeper!

Nice win after Taillon departed so soon. The bullpen got a workout so hopefully Cole goes deep into tonight's game.
Judge is Judge, that's all you can say anymore.

So now that you've been at your new job for a while how are you liking it?

Morning posting before my coffee. lol.
So now that you've been at your new job for a while how are you liking it? It's OK, but honestly, it's just a job. I was at my old job so long it became intertwined with my personal life, taking late night business calls and make way too many late night emails. I'm never getting that invested into a job again, it just isn't worth it in the end. The company gets way more out of it than you do. Thanks for asking!

Gotta separate your work and personal life for your sanity at some point. I work mostly from home but I make an effort to not let work creep into my personal time. Like watching Yankees games!

Do you like working at home? We're all different but I'd struggle with working at home all the time, maybe once or twice a week as a break from the office, but I like seeing other people.....sometimes.

For example works light today so I'm playing Madden during the day.

You could play Madden all day until it's time for the Yankees game. Okay, maybe an ice cream break now and then. Seriously, with some very minor exceptions I always loved my work and the people I worked with, but at no point did work take precedence over my personal life. Of course it helps if you can incorporate things you enjoy anyway -- in my case travel, international politics and high-end restaurants -- into the job. Work hard play hard remains reasonable advice.

I know you're officially retired but its only all fun and games until MI6 needs you save the world. Again.

I always say, don’t fall in love with you’re job. It doesn’t love you back…
