None. I stayed in bed most of the day with a headache, watching old X-Files episodes. Weather is rainy and dreary. I'll probably go to work on Monday. Tomorrow, grocery shopping and cleaning the apartment. Sounds good to me besides the going to work on Monday part. Hope your headache feels better. Just lost the connection - but got it back. Thunderstorm. Did Schmidt get out of trouble? |

Does anyone else sort of ... not want us to get into the Playoffs? Yeah that'd take something crazy by other teams but I think that's the only way we'd see some major changes with the team. It's crossed my mind more than once, but Hal will still own the team. |

I gave it a thought. But its no guarantee they make changes even if they don't make the playoffs. Boone may be gone but it seems Cashman has a lifetime position. I never root for my team to lose thats ridicolous. Also they would just blame injuries anyway. Having said that blowing a 10 game lead with 30 to go isn't going to happen and other than the last month the Yankees have won a lot of "series" so I feel maybe in the playoffs they can actually be successful since they wont be resting guys etc. |

Stanton is 3 for 23 since coming off the injured list. .130/.259/.130 Torres since the All Star Break: .190/.222/.299 Hicks has a .449 OPS since the break. IKF at .586 DJ since the break: .241/.323/.358 Donaldson: .212/.297/.356 No more analysis needed. These guys need to start hitting. SICK TO MY STOMACH!!! |

It's not like they haven't been swept before, and they are very lucky all the other teams in the AL East - outside of Baltimore - haven't been playing great baseball either. Four games in the loss column lead would worry me with this team even if it was the last week of the season. |

It's just hard to believe they can go this long without guys even making hard contact, let alone scoring runs. It doesn't matter who the opponent's starting pitcher is, they just cruise through this lineup.
