All Hicks had to do was strike out, and they would have pitched to Judge. Even when he gets a hit, something negative occurs. I dont think they pitch to Judge as the winning run at the plate. They aren't going to put the tying run on second in the bottom of the ninth on the road with one out. |

I dunno I just cant really fault a guy for hitting a double when a good amount of runners can score from first on a double. I get what you are saying though, but if Gleyber makes any kind of contact the game is tied vs Judge would need a hit to tie/win. |

Fault Torres, who is now 1 for 17 with the bases loaded this season. Boone hitting him third just show how terrible this lineup is right now. |

The only thing Hicks can do to prevent Judge from having a chance is to hit into a double play. If they had any brains they would pinch hit Oswaldo. Oswaldo should have been in the line-up instead of Hicks (hicks should have been on bench).
With the way Oswaldo is playing on Off. & Def. who knows = we might have won this game???
