Today is the day that Giancarlo starts hitting. I feel it in my bones… He better because I was thinking about changing my avatar to Hicks It would be so wonderful to clear the dead wood on this roster. The guys that can never play or underperform. Hitters, fielders, pitchers, the lot of them. Replace them with solid 150 game per year performers that ran all out and played their hearts out and asses off… Rizzo: Love him, but he’s become a .220 hitter with a back that can go out picking up a paper clip. Gleyber: You know… talent without brains Donaldson: Just go, smart ass Hicks: He had his chances. Many of them. I hope this was his last. Stanton: He still looks menacing but he already had a two week hot stretch this year. He’s probably done. |

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks dropped some controversial comments that have the fan base riled up. Hicks openly complained about his lack of playing time for the Yankees during the second half of the season, indicating that his future with the team is unclear amid his abysmal campaign in 2022. Via the NY Post, Hicks acknowledged that he may be better off playing for a new team in 2023.
