Just woke up to an RBI double by Donaldson. Had to shake my head to make sure I was awake. Then, I remembered we were playing the Pirates, or then remembered the magical ninth inning last night. Perhaps, the carry over effect will come back like the first half of the season. Thanks for the game thread, as I'm up to speed. Salami for Cabrera negates the very young Inger play in left field on the pin ball corner extra base. Nice to hear Sevy looked like Sevy. With the Montas debacle, we are going to need him. Cole, Nestor, and Sevy could be stout enough for the playoffs.

One of my nephews is named Derek after Jeter, there'll probably be a bunch of Aaron's coming soon. lol, thats awesome Chi! Is he a huge Yankee fan? His dad is but I don't think Derek is much of a baseball fan. |

That was one of the best renditions of God Bless America that I have heard in a long time. They should get him to do it from now on!

Miguel Yajure is the 4th Pirate to play in this series that was once a Yankee minor leaguer. We haven't seen Manny Banuelos yet, so he would be the 5th.

Miguel Yajure is the 4th Pirate to play in this series that was once a Yankee minor leaguer. We haven't seen Manny Banuelos yet, so he would be the 5th. I really liked Yajure, and thought he was a great change of pace guy out of the bullpen who could go multiple innings with his change up. |

We'll be seeing Bogaerts and the last place Red Sox next so hopefully Yankee pitchers can shut him down to help Judge. |
