When this team slumps, it slumps together… and it stinks…

LeMahieu, Carpenter, Green, and King left huge holes. And also Benintendi, although I suppose we could argue that his absence has provided an opportunity for Cabrera to demonstrate his versatility. Still, I'd rather have him. What a difference the presence of him, DJLM and Carpenter would make in this lineup. It would remove Hicks, Gonzalez and Locastro from the post-season roster and really make this one of those proverbial long batting orders.
