I'm in Northampton, MA for a CAT-scan tomorrow. My wife and I were walking our way through a protest downtown and I heard one protester tell another, "don't forget, after the protest we're going for ice cream". I whipped my head around to see if she was talking to kaybli. LOL!

That is the Yankees 94th win and Tampa who was 2 behind in the loss column on Sept 9th is now 11 behind in the loss column and eliminated from AL East contention..
What looked like a long shot a few days ago the Yankees have 10 games left and only need to go 6-4 for 100 wins.

Love how Peraza hasnt played in like a week, gets a few knocks (btw helped me win my semifinal fantasy week as AVG was getting dicey yesterday and his two hits helped me) - then will probably not play for another week. But as a young kid, that's impressive as it shows he continues to be ready. Cabrera as well, has come up and been willing to play wherever and the bat is coming around.

I suspect he will see more time once the Yankees clinch the division. But of course first the Yankees must punish him for playing well before he was supposed to. |

By limiting roster expansion to 28 and with half of those being pitchers, Boone won't be able to indulge his most elaborate rest fantasies like he could under the old 40-player limit. |
