lol, I had some work to do too. Just caught the end. No Yankee baseball till Next Tuesday now! It's going to be a strange weekend. It just hit me. What am I going to do for the next 6 days?

Yankees were 38-39 in their last 77 games. 20-9 in their last 29 games. Mostly from the heroics of Aaron Judge, and a sprinkling of youth, not to mention some great starting pitching. If I am the opposing manager in the playoffs, I'm not giving Judge a thing to hit in a series. The only way that happens is if Stanton turns into playoff Stanton again. |

99 wins is still good regardless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The only good another win would have done would have been to make a minor change in the trivia question “how many 100 win seasons have the Yankees had?”… I can live with whatever the answer is. And after moving, etc. all day, I really don’t care what the answer is. It was an exciting day. The lady that was moving us and doing the final move out cleaning was late because she had a grand daughter born this morning. Never got started until around 1:PM… got finished at 8:30 and got to our cabin at about 10:30. Pooped. Just popped my Ambien. The cat is confused as to why she’s locked in the bathroom and the dogs are confused why they aren’t sleeping in their kennel. Once my Ambien kicks in and I shut the lights off I think they’ll all settle down and sleep… |

I took the dogs out for a walk this morning, but they didn’t seem to understand that I expected them to empty out. Now I’m on the couch and they’re both imposing themselves on my lap. They get quite worked up when other dog owners stroll by. Not what I call a peaceful camp ground. The main highway is right out front. Lots of trucks going by. The cabin is “okay”, but the heat source is unvented propane, so I’m living the paradox of heat on and the window cracked open., Oh well. Couple more days, and I slept pretty well last night… Final walkthrough on the new place (and at the old place) today. We have to drive an hour and a half each way, so most of the day will be shot. Then tomorrow should be a rest day. No excitement as long as everyone signs the papers (including us). |

Minor bummer today. Our buyer reported that we have a leaky toilet in the master. We don’t. I’m sure she had the window open, creating a temperature differential that led to condensation which dripped on the floor.
But, I said, yes. Get a plumber in there so they can be comfortable that all is right. But whatever he does to “fix” the toilet… keep that window shut afterward or it’s going to make a mess in the floor again. It’s simple science.
So, since I have allowed for the plumber visit, they said they would sign to close the deal tomorrow morning.
Moral. Don’t let a minor issue block your major sale…
