Biggest takeaway for me as a non-watcher is that Cole didn’t shrink from the moment and stayed strong when the going was getting tough. Sounds as though we easily outplayed Cleveland in the field, and we whooped their undefeated pitcher. All good feeling stuff… Yea I feel fairly good today even most of the Cleveland base runners were from Yankee mistakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bob Costas was pretty terrible last night. I expected better Bob.

Bob Costas was pretty terrible last night. I expected better Bob. It's like we were listing to a long winded history of baseball podcast. Bring back Don Orsillo.

The schedule is so annoying. No game for a week and then suddenly another two days off because of likely rain tomorrow.

Bob Costas was pretty terrible last night. I expected better Bob. I think Costas used to be the best announcer going at one point. At about the time he started getting plaudits for being so good he became too self enamored, believing all the stories told about him. Then he started to think we all wanted to know more about a guy named Bob Costas. We did. A little. But he started to think and talk about Bob Costas a lot. That was even okay if you were watching a Bob Costas special interview. But it wears thin on a broadcast when he trails so far off the subject matter…
