He does act like he get paid by the word. I think he's gotten worse with age. Lots of rambling. Didn't he take like a decade plus off from broadcasting? He's stuck in the 80's. |

Costas definitely doesn't buy into the concept of letting the game breathe. Plus he wrongly said the last Yankee ring was in 2000. One long streak I think at stake here is the Yankees haven't won a "playoff series" at home since 2012 vs Baltimore. I don't consider a wild card game a series. 2013 no playoffs 2014 no playoffs 2015 lost to Houston in WC game at YS 2016 no playoffs 2017 wc game winner, won in Cleveland alds, lost in Houston alcs 2018 wc game winner, lost in ny to Red Sox 2019 won alds in Minnesota, lost alcs in Houston 2020 won wc bo3 in Cleveland, lost Alds to Tampa in San Diego 2021 lost wc in Boston So yea been a decade since they clinched a whole series at home.
