I saw how crackstreams works last night. I works great for about the first 3.5 or so innings. Then it freezes and they start asking for donations to keep the stream live. If you sign out and wait for a half hour or so, you can sign back on, but they only give you an inning or so before the begging starts again… after your picture fades out. After that, signing on no longer seems to be an option…
Of course at that point I no longer cared to see anyway… I even deserted the dots…
Pretty clever though…

I read that for combined Hicks, Donaldson and Chapman AAV, Yanks could have Harper and Machado. Now obviously the years are different but woof. |

Congratulations Rob Thompson and the Phillies! Does this mean Pipps is going to the World Series? I read that for combined Hicks, Donaldson and Chapman AAV, Yanks could have Harper and Machado. Now obviously the years are different but woof. Harper with a game-winning two-run homer in the eighth. Five HRs and eleven XBH in the post-season. The guy has been on fire and nothing but exemplary since he came to Philly. |

The team changed instantly when he replaced Girardi. The Phillies may have only been a six seed, but that's misleading because they aren't the same team that started 22-29 under Girardi. No, no World Series for me unless the Yanks make history and get in. I didn't even go in 08 when we lived in Philly and in 09 we were out of the country. |

The Yankees seemed to believe that Girardi's perceived, controlling personality was holding the team back, making them incapable of relaxing in crunch-time. The Phillies, apparently, believed the same. Of the two, Philadelphia got it right. Immediate dividends. Conversely, the Yankees have not equaled Girardi's last season of losing in game 7 of the ALCS. Admittedly, the Yankees have done better in the regular season; however, if you take Gerrit Cole off that 2017 Astros' team and put him on the Yankees....well, the Yankees have not been able to change their fortunes for the World Series even with Cole, and they continue to come up small in big situations. Houston has scored nearly all their runs in the series with two outs. The Yankees scored two of their four runs in the series due to one error. |
