I guess all Rizzo's agents had to do was float that Astro's rumor out there and Hal & Cashman moved quickly to get things done.
Really the only question with Rizzo is his back, if he stays healthy, he'll hit HR's, drive in runs and give you good defense at first. I also think his batting average will go up with the shift ban.

He's the only .220-ish hitter I really wanted back. He helps the infield defense so much.

Yes, the team really needs a good left handed hitting LF. Maybe Benintendi resigning? I like Benintendi but I worry about his hamate. Usually that injury saps your power for a year or two. Even though Benintendi isn't a power hitter. |
