Lookin like a young inger out there! 😂 A bit of truth in there. Third base was a position that I liked to play… until I got there. Then I immediately wanted to be back in the outfield. I could make some nice plays there, but I was a bit error-prone… maybe a bit more than a bit. I found the king throws from the outfield much easier to make than the shorter throws in the infield… I could not stand the outfield. Too much standing around, sometimes never having a single ball come my way the entire game. Third, shortstop, and first base always had action. Plus, after every ground ball out, the ball was thrown around the infield, then to the pitcher. But, the most fun I can have on a diamond is on the pitching mound. The ball is in and out of my glove every single inning, batter, and pitch. NOTE: I also wanted to hit, so I did not like the idea of a universal DH. I would have had to have been Shohei Rizzuto. |

I would break the HR record, steal record, and hit .400 in the same season with a .700 OBP.  |
