talk about young players coming along....Gleyber showing why he was so highly rated....Andujar looks like a natural hitter....Austin has been wonderful....and that's guys that were not necessarily counted on this season..

Yanks survive another crappy outing by Gray. And had chances to make it a laugher. Now to the good part of the rotation.

I may get shot for saying this, but Sonny seemed to have made a bit of progress this time around...Before you know it, he won't be sucking on the hind tit, and may move up to the next one...

I may get shot for saying this, but Sonny seemed to have made a bit of progress this time around...Before you know it, he won't be sucking on the hind tit, and may move up to the next one... 5 walks and 6 hits in 4.2 innings and 100+ pitches is progress? Have they legalized LSD out there in Colorado, too? |

I am not of the mind to shoot inger for saying Sonny looked better, but it may be an early sign that our boy needs to be watched for other odd observations.........

I can't even get away with a statement connected to a tit reference on an all male forum... (:
But, given that his previous two outings were so bad that the there was no WAY he was going to make it to 100 pitches...
and given that in his previous two outings he allowed 6 runs, 7 hits in 3 innings and 5 runs and 5 hits in 3.1 innings...
given that he did settle in a bit for innings #2 and #3, though walking a bit of a tightrope...
In relative terms, I do believe there was progress made, yes...Now, when he pitches the perfect game in his next start, you can say you heard it here first... (:
And remember kids...only dopes use dope...
