What are you doing in Arizona, utah? I have a winter home in Surprise, Arizona......I live in a northern Utah, high altitude valley that is beautiful in the spring through early fall, but makes a long winter......in Arizona, besides the nice weather, the facilities here are rather amazing in this community resort....I play a lot of billiards and shuffleboard, there are 4 swimming pools and a hot spa....all sorts of other things to do both at the resort and out on the desert....it's a tough life...haha........I did work hard in my career though, so I earned it in that way......... Gibson is pitching like Bob today.....sheesh........... Hey, Utah...I THINK we left Utah after we met you right through that valley you live in, and it IS indeed a beautiful place...When John Denver sang the words "Almost Heaven" in "Country Roads" he could have easily said the name of that valley, but it didn't quite fit the "Country" theme like West Virginia did. So many gorgeous mountainous areas in the USA, but few in the east compare to the most bland of the mountainous areas of the west...Unless you like greenery, I suppose..."Your" valley was extremely serene-looking. And the way I see it, if you are there, then yes...you earned it... As for me, I'm still working, but now that I get to enjoy my work more than I ever have in my life, I'm content to work for as long as my brain and body will allow it...(ask me again in a few years, but I'm having a blast, and even making a few bucks along the way)...

I didn't get to watch the game. I checked the scoreboard just after it was over, and it appears that I would have at least enjoyed the ninth inning...With Betances pitching so well, and then to have the surprise in the bottom of the ninth, well...shoot. What more could we ask for? Fun just reading about it!!!

The Kraken! 153-9 but they need a pitcher. Cole might have been one of Cash’s few mistakes

The Kraken! 153-9 but they need a pitcher. Cole might have been one of Cash’s few mistakes Good to see you back Numbers! We've missed you here! According to reports the Pirates wanted both Frazier and Andujar from the Yankees. So we'll see if it was worth it or not. We'll see if Cole can keep it up or not. Sonny Gray might have been another mistake. We'll see if he turns it around or not.

At this point, I'd rather have Andujar than Cole, much less Frazier too. Now, when the trade was "on the block" I wasn't quite as opposed to it, but I thought that Frazier and Andujar both was a bit much. I would have been okay with losing Frazier at the time, but not WITH Andujar, and I wasn't keen on losing Andujar...But I did think we were vulnerable in the rotation to a degree...
And...oh yes...Sorry numbers. I almost missed welcoming you back to the fold. You were indeed missed around these parts...

I also saw rumors that the Pirates wanted Frazier & Chance Adams, which would have been more doable than Frazier & Andujar. The Astros have really lucked out on how well Cole and Verlander have pitched since they became Astros.

In hindsight, Frazier and Adams for Cole looks pretty good now but in the offseason Cole was no sure thing coming off a mediocre season. Oh well. We'll have a chance to raise their ERAs in a couple of days. Well, at least Verlander's. We won't see Cole.

He's the biggest reason the Yankees didn't make the World Series last year.

But you're right. Verlander killed us. We'll get revenge this year.
