Had to look it up, it was 1979 from their "Underdog" album which I wore out on the old Girard turntable. That song's lyrics were impactful for a 14 year old who could not get along with his father and many of the small minds in a small town. It offered a kind of courage. One year later, it became background music to first time fumblings with the female form while moonlight shone through the windshield and a soft radiant light from a AM radio.

Hiya Rizz. Seriously, they were an excellent band. With some members derived from The Classics IV who made the original "Spooky." I'm most familiar with this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1f3JhktiQ5E

My own favorites from ARS are "Do It Or Die" and "Indigo Passion" but those weren't big hits. "Spooky" is good because I love unusual chord structure and that one has 13th chords and good use of diminished chords. Cool songs. I think Spooky is my favorite out of them. We had this discussion before on these boards, but Spooky does have some great guitar work in it.

Then, at the end of the night, straightening clothes, retucking shirts, rebrushing hair, and chewing gum to cover any scent of exploration. The long walk up the driveway to delivery her back safely, and then driving home like no one else existed on the planet, as relaxed and content as a jellyfish in a warm summer sea.
