Alamosa's first Superhero! He's a complicated man, no one understands him but his woman....  The silver cup held a half a smoothie. His sugar levels wreaked havoc lately, so he decided to take his morning nourishment in two parts. Bad habits and bad circumstances were catching up with him. But, his recent retirement held hope of a new and healthier start. Then, he turned over the newspaper. Another couple. Another hiking trail. The shadows in the photograph and black and white newsprint confirmed suspicions he had for more than six months. He grabbed his sombrero and stepped away from the patio furniture toward his damaged Hummer. The Alamosa County Sheriff's Office could no longer dismiss the two words he had warned them about three months ago: serial killer. A name he had tried to forget decades ago passed his lips nearly breathlessly - DoMe. |
