One pitcher has an ERA in the 10's and the other in the 8's. Gotta wait till Tuesday to see this one. Ohtani and Trout in the Bronx.

Too bad Ohtani isn't pitching in this series. We usually knock him around.
I'm still upset about Stanton. I know why be upset about the inevitable. But I'm still mad.

Yea I am too because it looked like he was really having some early success and like CHI said even if he's back in a month or whatever he usually takes forever to get back into rhythm fully recover etc. Plus we know Boone even when he's back he won't trust him in the of for a while etc. They really need Donaldson to at least be able to hit 20 hr or so last thing they need is Stanton out and more black holes. Hopefully Bader can expand on his playoffs success. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rays lose to lowly Cincinnati 8-1 and now have lost 3 of their last 4 games.

DJ’s lack of speed has often been one of the contributing factors that have helped strand him on the bases. We’ve needed a speedy leadoff hitter for a long time. The team is quite infamous for failure to advance base runners. Let’s have some that can advance themselves…

The team is quite infamous for failure to advance base runners. Let’s have some that can advance themselves… Here, here! Harumph! Harumph! The running game is back! Long live Vince Coleman, Omar Moreno (former Yankee!), Davey Lopes, and the king of kings, Rickey Henderson. Managers will have to choose between speed and OBP in choosing their lineups again. Otis Nixon (most steals not in the HOF) lives!…

Nice top of the order but then we have IKF and Hicks in the bottom.

Yankees’ Clarke Schmidt is running out of time to prove his worth.
Schmidt has an 8.44 ERA after his first three starts this season and has only tossed 10.2 innings in them. He hasn’t been able to go very deep in his starts, and he also isn’t getting the swings and misses that he needs to put together good outings consistently. He’s got 11 K’s on the year in those 10.2 innings he’s thrown, and because he’s been struggling, he’s got a -0.1 fWAR to show for it.
