Now that he’s no longer in the game I can say this without jinxing him, but Nestor did a masterful job of getting weak contact out of Ohtani and Trout today. Especially Ohtani.
How can it be possible that Ohtani is like 13 for 69 off us, yet has 8 HR? Crazy numbers…

I don’t like this 8 seconds to get in the box coming out of the pitcher’s 15 seconds. It’s weird. Why not 7.5 seconds? Or make the total 16 seconds so they can split it evenly? The clock is good overall, but that was one they got wrong. It’s going to get manipulated by hitter in clutch spots and in running situations…
