That’s one guy I’ll give a pass to. He’s had to adapt to sporadic play as a utility knife. I think he’s going to hit fine before the season wears on much further… Define hit fine. He has a career .657 OPS. He is who he is. He hits for a decent average, without great on base skills or power. He runs well and plays the field well, even center if you take his lack of experience into consideration. He seems to want to be a Yankee, even at the expense of the opportunity to be a full timer somewhere else… |
