Any word on Sterling's HR call for Bauers? Lame. I would say we should cut Sterling some slack since he's almost 85 years old. But he was like this 30 years ago. |

Any word on Sterling's HR call for Bauers? Pipps, did you read that four horses have died at Churchill Downs ahead of the Derby? Two with broken legs, and two for unknown causes. Yes I did. Only one of them was a Derby entrant, but that's still an insane number of deaths. Horse racing is sadly by its nature a sport with a high casualty rate for both equine and human participants. That goes double for steeplechase, for which my wife and I are regular attendees. It's beautiful and graceful and the horses are born to compete -- they know what is going on -- but it's inherently dangerous. |
